Last updated: 2 November 2026 · Eye the Isles 1.1.0
Eye the Isles does not collect personal data from the game.
Eye the Isles is published by Up to Change and developed by Lars Rönnbäck.
The game has no accounts, advertising, analytics, or tracking. Gameplay and world generation run locally on your iPhone; your progress is not sent to us.
What stays on your iPhone
The game stores the following in its own app storage:
- saved visits, including the world clock, your position, and changes in the world;
- your journal, field guide, remembered photographs, and mystery progress;
- the map of the islands you have explored;
- generated archipelagos and their world codes;
- settings and local generation status information used to complete or diagnose world generation.
Journal photographs are images of the game world. The game does not access your camera or photo library.
Like other app data, this information may be included in your own iCloud or computer device backups if you enable them. Those backups are governed by Apple’s policies and your settings. The game does not provide its own cloud sync or transmit these files to the developer.
Sharing and external links
If you choose to share a world code, the game opens the standard iOS share sheet. You choose the destination. The receiving app or service handles what you share under its own privacy terms. A world code does not include your journal, photographs, or personal progress.
If you choose a support or privacy link in Settings, it opens this website in your browser. Normal website processing described below then applies.
Removing your data
Deleting the app removes its local data. Copies in existing device backups or information you have shared separately may remain; manage those through your backup settings or the service you shared with. There is no game account to delete and we hold no copy of your game saves.
This website
This site uses no analytics, advertising, tracking pixels, cookies, or external fonts. Its images, styles, and gameplay video are served from the same website.
The web server may process normal connection information, such as your IP address, requested page, browser information, and request time, to deliver and secure the site. Any server access logs are separate from the game’s data. For questions about website logs or a privacy request, contact the address below.
If you contact support
If you email support@uptochange.com, your email address, message, and any attachments are processed to respond to your request. Please send only information relevant to the issue. Support correspondence is handled through email rather than collected by the game. You can contact the same address to ask about or request deletion of support correspondence, subject to any applicable retention obligations.
Children
The game collects no personal information from players, including children. Contacting support or visiting the website is covered by the sections above.
Changes to this policy
If a future version changes how information is handled, this policy will be updated and its date revised.
